Cadwell Design and Sign recently completed two signature sign projects at Boston University and Williams College. Our recent work at Boston University for the newly renovated Warren Towers shows our ability to cover all sign types from basic room and ID signs, bathroom signs to complicated directory signs. In addition, we completed custom directory work at Williams College, Sawyer Library with new directory signs, rolling cart signs and study area identification signs.
The Cadwell team are experts working in the college and university market and thrive on these “college summer slam projects” as many colleges work quickly all summer to prepare for back-to-school openings each fall. Tower A project at Boston University, Warren Towers included more than 1,000 signs installed and a complete remodel of the student cafe in the first phase of a three-year project at Boston University. Simultaneously, the Cadwell team finished a large refresh at Williams College for the Sawyer Library. See photos below.
The Cadwell team worked closely with Shawmut Construction, MDS and Leftfield on this multiyear project as BU renovates the largest dorm building in the US. Our design and build team helped these firms create amazing living spaces for BU students as they move into Tower A for Fall of 2026 classes. “Sydney Volpe and our design and build team delivered an innovative sign systems with CADCrylic™, the recycled sign product built exclusively by Cadwell.
