Cadwell is proud to support the Connecticut Children’s expansion with an EGD sign package and three impressive donor walls during the construction of their new eight-story clinical tower. This new tower will enhance care for children and families across the community. Our work in the tower project reflects our shared commitment to creating spaces where children and families feel supported and at home in this warm and welcoming environment. In addition, the donor walls are a great way to recognize and encourage future philanthropic endeavors. The Cadwell team worked closely with Chris Hayes at Cannon Design, and Cate O’Toole, Dianna Pategas at Connecticut Children’s.

The team created these innovative donation walls with live edge tree sections, metal cut tree silhouettes and magnetized 24” blocks all to enhance the recognition of the largest donors to the hospital. This innovative approach to a donor wall is “unlike any project we have worked on over the last five years” stated Stephen Moylan, President of Cadwell Design and Sign.

“The creative elements, ability to add new names, visual interest and focus on nature all tie into the child friendly theme at the hospital”. The team worked closely on many creative elements. The printing on unique substrates, using magnets for attachments and arranging the walls for future donations makes this one of the top 10 projects at Cadwell in 2025.
